"To forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil, is to forget ourselves"
(Mahatma Gandhi)

Who we are?

We are farmers, consultants, trainers from different countries brought together by the European Erasmus + MADIE project. The program shares a vision of ecological agriculture that aims to enrich the ecosystems we care for.

RuralAcademy promotes the principles of ecological agriculture by supporting increased land fertility and biodiversity, the use of renewable energies, the development of cooperation projects and multifunctional programs and much more.

We all know how important it is to restore a feeling of unity between man and nature. History, our planet, and our children demand it.
To do so, we must start afresh from experience, by placing our hands in the soil, and we must do so in a conscientious and practical manner as we go about our work as farmers, technicians, teachers.
This is why the project exists: it is our drop in the ocean of this great duty.

The Project

So, what do we do?

Our project is a community of farmers, teachers, consultants, researchers
who are active in the field of agriculture and share the belief in the value of unity between man and nature. It is a network that wants to grow by fostering this principle through practical experiences in organic agriculture, by using the web and social media. It wants to grow through an international exchange of experiences and knowledge that places farmers and workers at its heart.

Our project is an international travelling academy of ecological
agriculture. It aims to foster the sharing of knowledge and experiences with events in all participating countries – Germany, Italy, Hungary, Norway, Finland, Croatia, Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia, for now.

You will find lots of content here on the platform and on our Facebook page, but if you want to be part of the community, please join our Facebook group for exclusive contents, discounts on our future initiatives and more interaction with the staff and other members of the RuralAcademy Roving. Participants are vetted upon entry for their interest, so you will be asked a few questions about the motivation behind your wish to start on this incredible journey with us. This is important in order to ensure that community members have a positive, constructive environment to work in and grow. During the launch period of our initiative, we will be selecting the "pioneers"; of our roving international school of ecological agriculture, so participation in the Facebook group and platform will be free. This is very important to us: we value your participation in the foundation phase greatly because we believe that the heart of our community is in every single one of the members that constitute it.

Over the next few months, we will announce the monthly and annual fee for participation in the closed group and future members area on the platform. Until then, accepted new registrations will be free, as described above.

Join us now, it's a unique opportunity!
